Is Onava free?
Yes. Onava is completely free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no paywalled features and no trial period. Everything described on this site is in the free version.
Do I need an account to use Onava?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email required. You open the app, go through a short onboarding, and start. Your data is stored on the device, so there is nothing to log in to.
Is there an Android version of Onava?
No. Onava is iPhone-only and requires iOS 16.4 or later. There is no Android version, no iPad version and no web version.
Does Onava work offline?
Yes, entirely. Onava never needs a connection: there are no servers, no sync and no accounts. It works the same in airplane mode as it does online.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing is taken away. Onava counts the total number of days you completed a ritual, not consecutive days, so the count never resets and never burns down. There is no streak to protect and no freeze to buy.
How long does the morning ritual take?
Two minutes by default, and you can set it longer. Some ritual kinds have no timer at all — coffee or journalling is a single Done button — so the ritual takes exactly as long as your morning already does.
What languages does Onava support?
Nine: English, Ukrainian, German, Polish, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil) and Turkish. The app follows your device language and you can change it in settings.
How is Onava different from a habit tracker?
A habit tracker asks you to repeat the same things and scores you on consistency. Onava asks a different question each morning — what is today for — and the answer changes daily. It tracks that you decided your day, not that you completed a checklist.
Does Onava collect or sell my data?
No. Onava has no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs collecting anything. Your rituals, intentions and reflections never leave your iPhone, so there is nothing to sell or share. See the privacy policy.
Can I back up or move my data to a new phone?
Onava data is included in your encrypted iPhone backup, so restoring a backup onto a new device brings your history with it. There is no separate cloud sync, and deleting the app deletes all of its data permanently.
Does Onava have a widget?
Yes, for both the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. The widget shows your main intention for the day so you see it before opening anything else.
Can I turn the reminders off?
Yes. Reminders are optional and you choose the times. A weekly schedule lets them come later or not at all on your days off, and vacation mode silences them for a marked range of days without affecting your count.
