Onava — Privacy Policy

Onava ("the app", "we") is developed by Anton Kramarenko. This policy explains how the app handles user data.

Summary

Onava does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on a server. The app works entirely offline: all data stays locally on your device.

What data is processed and where

  • Daily intentions, streaks, ritual history, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us, third parties, or any server.
  • Push notifications — the app requests permission for local reminders (a morning ritual prompt and an evening reflection prompt). These reminders are scheduled and handled entirely on-device via the system expo-notifications API; we do not use push services that transmit data to a server, and we have no access to the content or delivery of these notifications.
  • Analytics and advertising — the app does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your activity within the app or across other apps.
  • Accounts — no sign-up is required. The app has no login system, so we do not collect your email, name, or any other identifying information.

Data deletion

Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all your data. No separate data-deletion request is needed.

Third parties

Onava does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect or transmit any data outside your device.

Children

The app does not collect personal data from any user, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes (for example, when new data-related features are added), we will update the date at the top of this page and, where relevant, notify users of material changes within the app itself.
